Hyatt Regency Harare The Meikles hosts inaugural wedding fair

Hyatt Regency Harare The Meikles will host its inaugural Wedding Fair of the Year this Saturday.

The event will be held within the hotel’s newly remodelled event spaces, which reopened in April 2025.

“The Wedding Fair marks the next chapter in the hotel’s legacy - one where timeless elegance meets modern celebration.

“Guests will experience beautifully curated event setups, meet seasoned wedding planners, explore bespoke décor, and connect with trusted vendors, including photographers, bridal studios, florists, and stylists,” the hotel said in a statement.

“More than just an exhibition, the Wedding Fair is a signal of love and a glimpse into the future of luxury events in Zimbabwe. This is where innovation, culture, and global hospitality converge under one roof to help couples bring their wedding vision to life.”

“On the day, guests will be treated to soulful saxophone serenades, a live radio broadcast by ZiFM Stereo, and interactive displays featuring the latest trends in décor, photography, and event design.

“To heighten the excitement, attendees can enter an exclusive lucky draw with prizes including romantic experiences, honeymoon stays, and thoughtful wedding gifts from the hotel and its event partners. Even more prizes will be revealed in the lead-up to the event, adding to the anticipation.”

General Manager Stefan Bloemke said the Wedding Fair was designed to inspire, offering couples a space where dreams meet detail and imagination finds its perfect expression.

“Every love story is unique, and we believe every couple deserves a setting as timeless as the moment itself,” Bloemke said.

Hyatt Regency Harare The Meikles is part of the Hyatt Regency brand, a global collection of hotels and resorts found in more than 200 locations across over 40 countries worldwide.
